Our goal is to deliver the highest level of customer service, and we value your feedback to enhance our services and address any personal concerns related to your medical care or office experience.
ADHD testing is available as a stand-alone service. We also offer ADHD Medication Management to interested individuals who qualify. The managed program is available to NRVM’s primary care patients as well as those who are treated by other primary care providers.
Patients interested in ADHD testing should contact either their primary care provider and request a referral to us, or call us directly if you do not already have a PCP to manage your condition.
Medical providers wishing to refer a patient for stand-alone testing can fax or email us an order request. We will then contact the patient to schedule a convenient time and date for testing.
Program Fees:
Many insurance companies approving ADHD evaluations and management impose copays significantly higher than our clinic's charges. We also made the decision to accept patients into our ADHD programs who have a primary care provider elsewhere.
To cater to most patients' needs and ensure simplicity for our program oversight staff, we've devised the following payment options:
While we will not bill insurance for you, you may have the option to file a claim with your insurance yourself to explore reimbursement possibilities. The outcome will depend on your specific policy, and your ability to follow the procedures set forth by your insurer.
Testing- $200 one time
Other medical offices may order testing, including counselors and other mental health practitioners, by sending us an order via email or fax. Following this, we will contact you, the patient, to coordinate a suitable date and time for the testing. The charge for one single test is $200, and a charge of $150 for any subsequent testing that an outside provider may order.
Medication Management- $100 monthly
After initial testing is completed, you may opt to schedule a consultation with us for Medication Management. In this initial consultation, your provider will thoroughly discuss your symptoms with you and will interpret your testing. The provider will then create a personalized treatment plan tailored to be most effective for you. Periodic re-testing may be required for measuring symptom response to therapy, and will be ordered at the provider's discretion. The cost associated with repeat testing will be included in the Medication Management Program charges.
Medication:
We can not understate the importance of responsibly managing medications. Prescribing and monitoring medications is done with utmost care, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. Patients receiving controlled substances will be closely monitored for their safety and well-being. It is essential to follow prescribed guidelines, attend regular follow-up appointments, and communicate openly with the healthcare team to ensure the effective and responsible use of these medications. Any misuse, diversion, or non-compliance may result in necessary interventions, including potential discontinuation of medication. NRVM is committed to promoting the highest standards of care and fostering a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
Appointment Schedule:
Patients are scheduled to meet with a medical provider routinely. When a new medication is initiated, these visits will be more frequent. If you are stable on medication and doing well, you may only need to be seen once every three months. The specific provider for these face-to-face encounters may vary depending on appointment schedules and availability. Visits may be scheduled virtually via tele-health platforms if needed at the provider's discretion.
Withdrawal and Program Termination:
Patients may withdraw from the program at any time, but no refunds will be provided. A 7-day notice is required to stop the next scheduled payment. Patients may be removed from the program without advance notice at any time due to non-compliance, breach of this agreement, patient health status changes, or unacceptable behavior.
